Parc Omega — unusual structural application

Quebec, Canada · 2015

Timber entrance arch at Parc Omega
Problem

The park needed a custom solution for joining and stabilizing large timber trunks forming a distinctive architectural entrance.

CINTEC solution

CINTEC anchors were used to provide system-level structural connection and reinforcement while integrating with the unique timber geometry.

Technical notes

This project demonstrates the flexibility of the CINTEC system beyond conventional masonry and stone applications into unusual structural forms.

Result

The unique entrance feature was stabilized and continues to function as a strong architectural statement for the park.

CINTEC provides technical consulting, product guidance and project support within its authorized scope. Final design responsibility and structural analysis remain with the project's Engineer of Record.
