CINTEC anchors are project-specific systems and must be installed by personnel who have been trained in the correct preparation, placement and grout-injection procedures. Proper installation is essential to achieving the intended performance of the anchor system. CINTEC provides training and certification for contractors and installation crews involved in CINTEC projects.
Training is required for personnel directly involved in the installation of CINTEC anchors, including installation contractors, site crews and personnel responsible for anchor placement and grout injection.
Training is intended to ensure that installers understand the complete installation process, including preparation of the anchor and borehole, grout mixing, injection procedures, equipment use and the installation requirements specific to the project.
Training must be provided directly on the project site. The required anchor core holes should normally be prepared in advance and the necessary site equipment, power, water and access must be available. CINTEC will coordinate the training requirements with the contractor and project team before the scheduled session.
Personnel who successfully complete CINTEC training may be issued CINTEC installer certification valid for up to 3 years.
Certification confirms that the individual has received training in the approved CINTEC installation procedure. Installers are expected to follow CINTEC installation instructions and the project-specific requirements provided for each application.
Certification applies to the individual installer and should be current at the time the CINTEC work is carried out.
