How the CINTEC anchor works
Installed into a pre-drilled oversized hole, the anchor body is surrounded by a fabric sock; cementitious grout is injected under low pressure so the sock expands into voids, cracks and fissures, creating a combined mechanical and adhesive bond with the parent substrate.
- Parent substrate
- masonry, stone, concrete, terra cotta or weak material.
- Pre-drilled oversized hole
- sized for the substrate and anchor design.
- Anchor body
- steel or stainless steel, sized to project loads.
- Fabric sock
- contains and shapes the grout as it expands.
- Cementitious grout
- injected at low pressure to engage the substrate.
- Hardware & end details
- concealed, countersunk or exposed as required.
