Northumberland Victorian Lime Kilns — heritage stabilization

The kiln structures had suffered from structural deterioration and required stabilization that respected the historical significance of the site.

A custom reinforcing scheme using CINTEC anchors was implemented to retain and stabilize the lime kilns with minimal visual impact.

This project is an excellent example of retention-led heritage repair, where the design objective was to save a landmark structure through careful reinforcement.

The kilns were preserved and the heritage asset was saved rather than demolished or heavily rebuilt.
